Mâcon-Charnay Franclieu featured here is made in stainlesssteel vats, to express the fruity, floral aromas and flinty minerality that characterize the best Chardonnay in the region. The hand-harvested fruit is whole-cluster-pressed, naturally fermented and aged on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks--no oak at all here--to feature the fresh, floral, flinty nature of the fruit from this vineyard.
