Fresh pine needle, tart and wild raspberry, and a cool undercurrent of wet stone give this wine a quiet, woodsy intensity. It's structure is elegant and focused, with snappy acidity and a sense of purpose to show the heart of La Morra. 100% Nebbiolo grapes... and organic! All estate fruit from a fourth-generation winemaker. It's profile is dry, elegant, medium body, with silky/dusty tannins. Characteristics of dried rose and wet tar on the nose, followed by dried cherry, tobacco leaf, damp earth, and a fabulous mineral streak. Long finish, fine acidity.
